

Depth filter sheets and filter pads
We offer a full range of Micro-Media cellulose filter pads by ErtelAlsop, used in the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, fragrance, and food industries. The Micro-Media® depth filter pads are made from cellulose pulp, high-strength wet resin, and diatomaceous earth and/or perlite, designed for critical applications and filter presses. They ensure highly efficient removal of particles smaller than the nominal filter rating. The components used in the production process are safe for food contact in accordance with the 21 CFR 176.170 standard.

Advantages
- Nominal filtration accuracy from 0.25µ to 15µ.
- A very wide range of sizes that fit practically every filter press.
- High capacity for contaminant retention due to the large internal surface area of the pad and the void volume in the fiber matrix, which extends filter life and provides greater throughput.
- High efficiency and Zeta potential, enabling the retention of negatively charged particles smaller than the nominal pore size of the filter medium over a wide pH range.
- Wide compatibility due to the use of natural components in the filter media, with wet-strength resins that are formaldehyde-free.
