Accessories, spare parts
Allfil offers a wide variety of accessories and spare parts for the bag filtration. Accessories can be used not only to improve the filtration process but also allows to adjust and design a housing to the exact specifications for your application.
Basket
Basket is made from stainless steel plate, and it is an element in the housing to support the filter bag in the filter housing. It prevents the filter bag from breaking and can provide the suitable pressure drop across the filter bag. We can make the basket with various filtration efficiencies; the diameter of perforation can vary from 2mm up to 8mm. The basket can be used with the filter bag as a dual stage filtration or when it is lined with wire mesh it can be used as a strainer, which is reusable after cleaning. The standard basket is available in size 1, 2, 3, 4. We have also the so-called double wall basket dedicated for high-flow filter bags.
A mesh strainer
A mesh strainer is made from stainless steel mesh, and it can be used in combination with a filter bag, or the basket can be used without a filter bag where it acts as a strainer. The mesh strainer is available in standard sizes: 1,2, 3, 4. Retention ratings varies from 25µm up to 800µm.
Neodym – magnets
Neodym – magnets are made of high-energy sintered neodymium magnets which are placed in the stainless-steel tubes and fixed on the special frame. Magnetic bars are inserted in the filter bag during filtration. The main purpose of neodym-magnets is retaining magnetic particles such as metal parts and fines (e.g. products of corrosion from installation), preventing deposition onto the filter media. Due to retaining magnetic dust the filter bag lifetime is extended and as a consequence this solution lowers the cost of all filtration process. Neodym-magnets are available in size 1 and 2 & 4.
Displacement balloon
Displacement balloon is a stainless-steel tube which is inserted inside the filter bag to minimize the amount of residual liquid present in the filter bag and reduce product loss during change-out of the filter bag. Displacement balloon is significantly important when the expensive application is in the filtration process and any losses are a significant expense. Displacement balloons increase the security of the operator because less residual liquid makes the filter bag lighter, and it allows the operator to lift filter bag easier reducing the chance of injury. Displacement balloon is made from stainless steel providing the years of smooth service. It is available in size 1 and 2.
Bag positioner
Bag positioner is a metal construction made with stainless steel, which is inserted inside the filter bag during filtration process. The main purpose of the bag positioner is to provide correct positioning of the filter bag within the basket and eliminate any movement of the filter bag caused by uncontrolled back pressure. It is significant particularly in case of the multi-layered filter bags eg. ALL bags from our offer. Bag positioner is available in size 1 and 2.
Insertion tool
Insertion tool is made with stainless steel ensuring clean and precise installation of the filter bag inside the filter housing. Insertion tool is highly recommended for high-flow filter bags, which are mounted in the special basket with inner core. Insertion tool is putted inside the filter bag and then it is inserted into the basket. After ensuring that the bag is properly placed, the insertion tool is retrieved, and filtration process can start. Insertion tool is simple to use and easy to clean after use.
Extraction tool
Extraction tool is simple hook-shaped element which assist the operating the parts used in the filtration process. Extraction tool significantly make easier to remove the baskets or filter bags when the filtration process is finished.
Bag hold down
Bag hold down is a stainless-steel tool ring-shaped or spring-shaped which hold the filter bag securely inside the strainer basket, which in turn is positioned correctly within the housing.
Height-adjustable leg
Height-adjustable leg – allow fix the filter bag housing in the needed height. Additionally, we offer the set of walls mounting brackets.
Gasket /o-rings
Gasket /o-rings pay a significant role in sealing the filter housing to prevent leaks or resist pressure. The choice of the right gasket depends on many factors such as: temperature, working pressure or chemical resistance of filtrated application. Allfil’s offer include a full range of sizes and materials e.g. Buna-N, EPDM, Viton, Teflon, silicone.
Other equipment
Other equipment – in Allfil’s offer you can find the full range of additional spare parts which are suitable for the customer’s technical specifications. There are available: pressure and differential pressure gauges, eyebolt, V-clamp, vents, butterfly and ball valves and many more.
