Laboratory Filter Presses

Plate-and-frame filter presses are an excellent solution for precise filtration of suspensions, especially in industries where an efficient and reliable process for separating solids from liquids is required. The plate-and-frame filter press consists of filter plates (e.g., PVC, polypropylene, stainless steel) and frames that form the filtration chambers. Each plate has filter pore on one side through which the filtered liquid passes. The plates are alternately arranged with the frames, creating filtration spaces where solid material (called filter cake) accumulates. The plates are secured in such a way that the flow of liquid and sludge is controlled, preventing the leakage of solids.
